I saw this a few days after
“Pursuit of Happyness” which was relentlessly depressing with only
a few upbeat moments at the end. This movie showed just as bad a
story about the difficulty of urban minority young people getting
free of gang violence, however this movie spread the happiness
throughout the last two-thirds of the movie which made it much easier
to take.
