Girl Who Played With Fire, The (in Swedish)

Rating = B+

I thought this film was slightly better than “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” Once again the movie is fairly true to the book, although of course it has to leave out bits of the book's story that would make the movie flow less well. As with the series of books, the movie ends in the middle of the story that starts in book 2 and ends with book 3. The reviews say that the movie speeds up once Salander and Blomqvist finally connect about half way through the movie. In fact, they don't connect until the last few minutes of the movie, and I don't think having them working on parallel tracks slows the movie at all.
