Mondovino

This movie is annoying to watch.
The hand held filming is (deliberately, I assume) very jerky with lots
of out-of-focus sweeps from one thing to another; I can only assume
the director was trying to feign that the movie was filmed by a traveler
using his video camera for the first time. The story line is unfocused
and confusing; ditto. And the people of the wine industry are generally
unsympathetic characters with most of the arguments seemingly about
whether the old-rich-old-monopoly wine-making approach
was more noble than the new-rich-new-monopoly wine-making approach.
