Much Ado About Nothing

This film of
the Shakespeare play is done in black and white, contemporary dress (e.g., men in
business suits), and American English, and with a location that looks very much like a
very nice house in southern California. I had a hard time staying awake during the
early parts. Still, it looks great and ultimately the story comes through. There is a
good bit of humor but not enough to really call it a comedy.
