Requium for a Dream

Saw this movie in Mexico in English with Spanish subtitles because I
thought I remembered it got good reviews when it came out last year. It's an interesting movie, but relentlessly bleak.
The acting is fine, but that characters become terribly depressing as the movie runs on overly long. Also, the
cinematic devices of the director, which are interesting at first, quickly grow old, and we have to
see them for another hour or more
