Beauty Academy of Kabul, The

This is a
strange movie. It gives an interesting picture of women in
Afghanistan including their desire to look good and, thus, the
demand for beauticians. The foreigners from the U.S. and other
English speaking countries who go to Kabul to teach hair dressing
come off as very out of touch with what is significant in life.
