Boyhood

accurately summed up the plot: it's about a boy growing up. It's also about the growing boy
trying to figure out “why are we here?” — “what's the meaning of life?” It is very
well done. The four main actors are wonderful, and all of the other actors are excellent.
The same lead actors were filmed a few days a year for 12 years, from the time the boy was
6 to 18. Thus we see the brother and sister actually growing up and the parents growing older.
