Charlie Wilson's War

I liked this movie a lot
more than most of the critics. The acting is fine, the script does a
good job of telling the story from the book in under an hour and a
half. It is entertaining while clearly indicating a lot of what is
wrong with our country's political process and foreign policy. The
reviewers who think the film treats a serious subject too lightly must
not understand how frivolous (catastrophically so) our politicians
motives typically are.
