We ordered the DVD from Netflix in order to (I think) complete our viewing of the complete feature film oeuvre of Wes Anderson films. It really needed to be seen on the big screen so one could look closely at all the wonderful props and sets that were used.

The DVD includes the 13-minute film “Hotel Chevalier” which is a prelude to the main film. I don't know if this was shown with the main film in its release for theaters.
