Everything Will Be Illuminated

This is another slow, highly self conscious movie. There are some laughs at the start and some sadness at the end. The nominal lead character does not develop — he is wooden throughout. In the end, the discovery is not about the most prominent characters or the second most prominent character but about the third most prominent character. It's all very strange and, in this case, that's not so good.
