Go for Zucker! (Alles auf Zucker!)

There are
several quirky characters and plenty of quirky interactions among
characters in this movie. However, it's almost a farce and, thus,
there is insufficient motivation (or too much contrivance) to really
carry the story along. Too much of the movie seems to be just doing
something for the sake of getting a laugh, when the laugh-seeking
situation is not really so funny.
