Invictus
Rating = B+
This is a good (but not great) film in many
ways. It reminds us of Nelson Mandela and his approach to reconciliation in
South Africa. It tells us about an important rugby game that I knew nothing
about because we don't follow rugby in the United States. It shows us a bit
about a few blacks and whites figuring out how to get along with each other
when forced together in daily life. And it is all done with Clint Eastwood's
usual straightforward, professional movie-making approach.
