Loving Vincent

The films questions how Vincent Van Gogh died; and, regardless of how he died, I learned some new things about him. It was done with action capture, compositing onto images of Van Gogh paintings, and projecting the composite in such a way that artists could paint with oils every frame of the movie. It is impressive. It is also still animation which I don't much enjoy.
