Lunchbox, The (Hindi)
Rating = B-
The two main characters in
this story never have met in person by the end of the film. However, through an ongoing delivery mixup, they have communicated by notes in a lunchbox, sent daily from her to him and back to her.
She is a thirtyish woman with a child and a husband who is no longer paying attending to her; he is a sixtyish man on the verge of retirement.
Through notes in the lunchbox, they are able to talk about personal issues with which they have no one else to talk to. It is a nice story, the actors are interesting to watch, however, it is pretty slow and it is left unclear (but maybe hopeful) that this potential romance will happen.
