Monster's Ball
Rating = B
There is some good acting in
this movie, and the director doesn't force things as two people who
have led confused lives and have now suffered great loss gradually
drift together and become better people. The ending is nicely ambiguous
(I think they will stay together). However, I don't think the
script provides sufficient motivation for the character turn-arounds,
at least not that of the leading man character.
