Mystic Masseur, The

This movie presents
a beautiful Trinadad and an interesting (and previously unknown
to me) class of Indians (from India) brought to work the fields
after the end of slavery and before the departure of the colonial
English. The story focuses on one man who is trying to move from
the peasant class to the upper class, but can never really make
it about three-quarters of the way.
