Opera House, The
Rating = B+
This is the story of the move of the Metropolitan Opera
from its old building at Broadway and 39th Street in Manhattan to its current location in Lincoln Center, including all the work and drama about actually building at Lincoln Center. There is lots of archival footage of then General Manager Rudolf Bing, architect Wallace Harrison, and others; and lots of visuals of still living people who were they at the move — most prominently and delightfully, Leontyne Price.
