The play was fine. The movie is perhaps better.
Gwyneth Paltrow is even better than Mary Louise Parker was. Hope Davis and
Paltrow actually looked like sisters, and Anthony Hopkins can do so much with
so little.
Neither production is quite as profound as I would have liked.
