Raising Victor Vargas

Rating = B+

This fine movie deals with teenagers coming of age sexually. Drugs and violence are not part of this movie. The presentation of the teenagers situation is quite realistic. I very much enjoyed watching the the young woman (who gets more attention than she wants) and the young man (who wants some action, or at least a reputation for action) coming to an implicit accommodation (it take him more time than it takes her to understand what is happening) and then actually getting to know each other. The generation gap between the teenagers and their elders is also well and realistically illustrated.
