Tall Guy, The

Saw it on video. This is a
rollicking comedy, written by the same guy who did Four Weddings
and a Funeral. Although the comedy isn't sustained for the whole
90 min., there are new belly laughs from time to time, including
scenes from the (fictional) musical of the Elephant Man, entitled
“Elephant,” an apparent send-up of Andrew Lloyd Weber's
“Cats.” Jeff Goldblum and Emma Thompson are in the lead roles.
