It's entertaining, and
I thought the voice over narration that some of the real critics didn't
like was just fine and helpful. There are lots of talky characters in
Woody Allen movies, and this one is no exception; Javier Bardem's
character is particularly good as the guy with an intriguing answer for
every response the young women make to his overtures (or lack of
overture in one case). Woody is an impressive guy — writing and
directing one more or less engaging movie after another.
