Water Horse, The

The water horse is cute when it is little. The long chase scene in the last third of the film goes on too long and is too dark, and the water horse is less cute when it is big. The scenes of Scotland (or perhaps it's all computer-aided graphics) are pretty. Why the handyman is gruff with the children early and a friend later is never explained. Seeing Emily Watson in the film reminded me that we don't see her in enough films.
