Whiplash

JK Simmons does quite a wonderful acting
job in this film, but his character is so unlikable that I sort of disliked the movie; otherwise I probably would have
given it a B+ rating. The movie is pretty engaging throughout, and deals with the interesting question of
how to bring out greatness in a musician.
