The movie is long but mostly engaging; the scenes where the boiler room leader extorts his workers to work the phones go on a bit too long. The movie shows non-stop debauchery and greed by these crooks purporting to be investment advisors. The film is based on real events, of a type that are probably still happening. There is lots of good acting in the film.
